Festivals hold an important place in our lives. Raksha Bandhan is one such popular festival celebrated throughout India. It is a festival which celebrates the bond of love betweenbrothers and sisters. On this day, sisters tie a sacred thread i.e. rakhi on their brother’s wrist thereby demanding a great responsibility from their brothers. This festival is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm. This was well explained in today's assembly by the students of Class 4A under the guidance of their class teacher Mrs.Sonal Bhatia. At the end of the assembly the children promised not to fight with their siblings and always be there to help and protect each other.
