Description:
Janmashtami is a festival that marks the birth of lord Krishna. On 9th September a special assembly on Janmashtami was conducted by Class 8Awith great zeal and enthusiasm. The stage was decorated with flute and colourful pitcher with butter. The programme commenced with a prayer service followed by a spiritual dance. The children were made to understand the importance of the knowledge passed to Arjuna by lord Krishna which is mentioned in Bhagavad Gita.The students understood the significance of the festival and were greatly inspired by the teachings.
