The ICSE Inter School North Zone Girls’ Basketball Tournament, 2017 was jointly organized by St. Mary’s Convent High School, J.N. Shah Memorial Public School and KDMA World School. The three day tournament commenced on 24.08.2017 at 8:15 a.m. in the basketball court of St. Mary’s Convent High School, which was the venue for the event. The event was inaugurated by Mr. J. Mathews (Principal, Bhagwanti Education Centre), Zonal coordinator North Zone Ms. Vanita Mehrotra (Principal, Sheiling House School) and Mr. Murlidhar Mishra (Senior Basketball Player).’Baski’ was the attraction in the basket ball tournament. On the first day, there were four matches of the Seniors and five matches of the Juniors. The first match for the Senior category was between the host school, St. Mary’s Convent High School and United Public School. In Senior category, United Public School, S. A. Jaipuria, Dr. Virendra Swarup Public School and St. Lawrence won the match. The first match of the Junior category was between Bishop Westcott School and J.N. Shah Memorial Public School. In Junior category, Bishop Westcott School, Methodist High School, St. Mary’s Convent High School, S. A. Jaipuria and Sheiling House School won the match.
