The ICSE/ISC Inter School North Zone Girls’ Basketball Tournament 2018 was jointly organised by St. Mary’s Convent High School, J.N. Shah Memorial Public School, City Model School and J.K. Millennium School. The three –day tournament commenced on 29th August, 2018 at 8:15 a.m. in the basketball court of St. Mary’s Convent High School, which was the venue for the event. It was inaugurated by Mr. K. V. Vincent, Principal of Huddard High School, Kanpur. Ten schools participated in the Junior Category, while there were eight teams in the Senior Category. On the first day, there were 3 matches of the Senior Girls and 4 matches of the Juniors. The first match for the Senior Category was played between United Public School and Virendra Swaroop Education Centre, Avadhpuri in which VSEC Avadhpuri was the winner. Other teams who won in the Senior Category were St. Mary’s Convent High School, VSPS Cantt. The first match of the Junior Category was between Sheiling House School and Bishop Westcott School in which Bishop Westcott School won the match. The other winning team of the Junior Category were Huddard High School and VSPS Cantt. Bishop Westcott School were the winners in the match against Jaipuria.
