On 20th August, the students of Class II participated in the Janmashtami activity wherein they beautifully decorated pots. Through this creative task, the children were made aware of the significance of Janmashtami and the life of Lord Krishna.
We explained the importance of this festival which celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, who is known for his playful and mischievous nature. One of the delightful stories shared with the children was how young Krishna would sneak into homes to steal butter from the pots. When asked who had eaten the butter, he would smile innocently and deny it, enchanting everyone around him.
This activity not only allowed the children to express their creativity, making the learning experience both fun and meaningful.
