Saturday was a day of exciting hands-on learning for the students at St. Mary's Pre-Primary. The LKG class explored the process floating and sinking with a fun activity. Teachers set up two glass containers filled with water, then introduced various objects like toys, spoons, fruits, pencils, and crayons. The children were captivated, eagerly predicting which items would sink to the bottom and which would float.In the UKG classroom, the older munchkins were busy with a group activity involving paper tearing and pasting. They worked together to decorate outlines of different fruits – mangoes, apples, and grapes – learning about the colours and shapes of the fruits and the importance of eating them. This activity not only taught them about healthy eating habits but also helped to enhance their motor skills. The kids were all smiles as they thoroughly enjoyed the interactive learning experiences. It was, without a doubt, a happy weekend filled with discovery and fun.
