Diwali is the festival of lights which is celebrated in various regions across India. To make the students understand the importance of Diwali, SMC, Kanpur had a celebration in school for pre- primary students on 22nd October, 2022. Our Principal explained the importance of Diwali, the festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. Children decorated diyas with colours and glitter. Teachers made rangoli with flowers and the children enjoyed to the fullest.
