Every beginning has an end and every end is a new beginning. It’s a relentless cycle seen in every aspect of our lives and the school life is no exception. For Class XII, their school life had come to an end. It was time to bid adieu to them. The students of Class XII were ushered into a beautifully decorated auditorium on the 24th of January to attend their last assembly.This year Class XI B was given the responsibility of conducting the assembly, Class XI A had to see to the decoration of the auditorium while the powerpoint presentation was made by Class XI C. The three most important phases of a student’s school life – Junior School, Middle School and Senior School were depicted by the means of an engrossing skit. The skit depicted how a girl leaves her parents’ hands and sets out on a journey of transformation from a vulnerable bud to a beautifully blossomed flower and then, she migrates from the Junior School to the Middle School and finally ,she moves to the Senior School. In the end, she becomes a fully developed individual , ready to take on the world.
After an ineffable display of a student’s twelve year long journey, the assembly ended leaving the Seniors in an emotional state. Now, it was time to lighten up the solemn mood of the students. There were dances performed on the latest Bollywood songs which left the Class XII students tapping their feet.The Acapella singers showcased their talent which forced the audience to sing along. On one hand, the actors made the audience laugh their hearts out with their comic act, while on the other hand, the presentation took them down the memory lane and moved them to tears of nostalgia. The singers brought tears to the eyes of the seniors with their farewell song.
