"St. Mary's Convent High School recently hosted the prestigious 'Battle of the Pans - 2025' a culinary competition, organised by Go Abroad Training Institute Private Limited. The event brought together talented young chefs from various schools to showcase their culinary expertise and creativity. 
The competition was judged by a distinguished panel comprising Mrs. Zoya Zaman, Mrs. Kavita Dias, and Mrs. Zeba Khan, Director of Go Abroad Training Institute Private Limited and host of the popular YouTube cooking channel, 'Zeba Khan - Working Woman's Kitchen'. The judges evaluated the participants on the basis of flavour, originality, presentation and nutritional balance. The students of Grade 12 showcased their culinary prowess, preparing an array of delectable dishes that highlighted their sense of aesthetics, hygiene and discipline. The competition provided a platform for the students to translate their passion for cooking into practice, fostering teamwork and confidence.
The Principal Respected Sister Prabha CJ praised the participants' commendable efforts, emphasising on the importance of the holistic growth of the students beyond the classroom. The award ceremony celebrated the winners, with Lavanya Seth securing first position for reawakening the taste of Indian cuisine, Fariya Arshad taking the second position for showcasing the flavours of West Bengal, and Muneera Imran claiming the third position with her mesmerisingly delicious sweet dish. The competition was a testament to the students' passion and creativity, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
