On 17th August, the students of class X A under the able guidance of their class teacher Mrs.A.Basu conducted their long assembly based on the topic–A planet to heal; resisting consumerism.
Through PowerPoint presentation, skit and dance drama, the emphasis on conserving natural resources and resisting the temptations of consumerism and brand culture was highlighted. The students sang a melodious and meaningful song inspiring the audience to perceive the need to save the planet.
At the end, our Principal, Respected Sister Prabha motivated the children to initiate steps to keep their surroundings clean and value the environment.
