With hearts brimming with pride and patriotism, our school
celebrated the 79th Independence Day with grandeur and reverence. The morning
commenced with the solemn flag hoisting by our esteemed Chief Guest, Major Indu
Mishra, ex-NCC cadet, which evoked a deep sense of unity and respect for the
nation. The highlight of the day was the Inter-House Dance Drama Competition in which creativity blended seamlessly with patriotic
fervour. Gandhi House portrayed the power of women empowerment , Nehru
House envisioned India in 2035, Mary Ward House showcased India’s
progress in all the fields and Tagore House delivered a poignant act
on mother’s love. Each performance captivated the audience, reflecting
the indomitable spirit of India. Gandhi House secured first place, followed by
Nehru House, Mary Ward House and Tagore House, marking a celebration that was
both inspiring and unforgettable. As the day concluded, the message resonated
clearly: “Freedom is not just a gift but a responsibility
we proudly uphold.”
