A farewell programme for the outgoing students of class 12 (2019-2020) was organised by the students of class 11 on 31st Jan 2020. The auditorium was beautifully decorated with quotations and balloons. Each student of class 12 was presented a graduation cap broach as token of love.
In keeping with the traditions of St. Mary’s, the farewell programme began with a solemn prayer service. Beautiful songs were played highlighting how each student would be like a candle spreading the message of hope, peace and harmony wherever she goes.
There was a powerpoint presentation which highlighted the years spent together with friends and teachers. Rev.Sr.Celine, the Manager of the school and Principal, Rev.Sr.Divya gave away the mementos. They also gave their goodbye message to the children expressing that in their shining faces and radiant eyes, they see hope of a brighter tomorrow. In the end, Mrs.Dey addressed the outgoing batch and advised them how they should conduct themselves in the world, outside the school.
The students of class 11th organised this farewell with great enthusiasm and ofcourse endeavoured to leave a wave of nostalgia in the students of class 12.
