Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan requested that
his birthday should not be observed as a personal celebration, instead, it should be dedicated to honouring the teachers of the country. In
1962, the Indian government responded to his request and declared September 5
as Teacher's Day to be observed all over the country
every year.
Teachers are educators, mentors, role models, and often the ones who shape our
character, spark our curiosity, and instil in us the values that last a
lifetime.
Students from Classes VI-XII celebrated the
Grand Occasion on 4th September 2025.The day began with a prayer service asking for God's
blessings on the teachers. Various items like dances,skit and an amalgam of songs were presented to expressed the affection of the students for their teachers.?
